What size decorative pillow fits an armchair?
The right size makes a big difference. A pillow that is too large can make your armchair quickly look cluttered. A very small pillow, on the other hand, can disappear. The right decorative pillow upgrades your armchair and provides nice back support.
For most armchairs, decorative pillows measuring 45x45 cm are a good choice. Do you have a wider lounge chair? Then you can also opt for an oblong decorative pillow, for example 30x50 cm or a decorative pillow of 40x60 cm. Do you want a more layered effect? Go for two decorative pillows of 45 x 45 cm or combine a 45x45 cm decorative pillow with a 30x50 cm decorative pillow.
Tip: before buying a decorative pillow, look at the height and width of your armchair. The pillow should complement the armchair but doesn't need to cover the entire backrest.
