At Kotabo, sustainability is important to us. We want to create beautiful interior products that are long-lasting and good for people and the environment. Together with our suppliers, we work every day to make better choices.

Packaging

We are continuously reducing our use of plastic. When plastic is necessary, our manufacturer chooses reusable plastic. They also now more frequently use biodegradable packaging. This leads to less waste.

Energy

We pay close attention to our energy consumption. We try to save energy wherever possible. Our manufacturers use solar panels. The goal is to generate our own energy in the future.

Testing and safety

Our products are thoroughly tested according to international regulations. Our suppliers use safe materials, such as REACH-tested products and AZO-free dyes.

High quality

We make high-quality products, ensuring they last longer. You won't need to replace them as quickly, which leads to less waste.

Certified materials

Our suppliers use sustainable materials. For example, PET material, which is highly recyclable. They also use recycled cotton, leather, and polyester. For cotton, we choose organic cotton with a GOTS certificate.

Fair production

We believe it is important that everyone works fairly and well. Our factories ensure good working conditions for employees. They hold certificates such as GoodWeave and Care & Fair. Child labor is absolutely excluded.
